Patrice presents Rocksteady Christmas (Album, Vinyl)

Let´s make christmas fun! 

Patrice recently collaborated with some of the great Rocksteady legends to create recordings that feel like a journey back to his favorite era — Jamaica in the late ’60s and early ’70s. The album was recorded in a vintage style, with musicians gathered around a single RCA ribbon microphone, producing a pulsing, warm, and pure sound. Each note is played with the utmost intention, brought to life by the genre’s originators.

Proudly, Patrice describes the making of the album: “I feel privileged to live in a time when these legends are still with us, and it felt essential to record them! This album came about very spontaneously, and the season was moving along quickly with Christmas approaching. So, I thought, why not make a different kind of Christmas album? I love these holidays, as they bring family together under one roof and create a lasting ritual, even in uncertain times. I simply asked myself, what kind of album do I feel is missing in this context… Voilà!”
