A decade later, Nile deepened that journey with an introspective, genre-blending masterpiece that explored movement, self-discovery, and personal truth.

Patrice‘s latest album '9'. This rebirth themed color blue worshipping album is the result of seven years of soul craft and a veritable introspection into the depths of Patrice‘s emotions and positioning in this world. "I was born on the 9th, the day my grandfather passed away. The notion of rebirth has always been present in my life, from my very first day. For my ninth studio album, I took the time to withdraw, to rebuild myself. The last seven years have been devoted to self-discovery, and it's this inner journey that has given life to this album." - Patrice

Patrice recently collaborated with some of the great Rocksteady legends to create recordings that feel like a journey back to his favorite era. The album was recorded in a vintage style, with musicians gathered around a single RCA ribbon microphone, producing a pulsing, warm, and pure sound. Each note is played with the utmost intention, brought to life by the genre’s originators.

Proudly, Patrice describes the making of the album: “I feel privileged to live in a time when these legends are still with us, and it felt essential to record them! This album came about very spontaneously, and the season was moving along quickly with Christmas approaching. So, I thought, why not make a different kind of Christmas album? I love these holidays, as they bring family together under one roof and create a lasting ritual, even in uncertain times. I simply asked myself, what kind of album do I feel is missing in this context… Voilà!”
